Tonight on TBN: Former IDF Chief of Staff Gen. Benny Gantz Joins The Watchman
When it comes to the radical Islamic threats gathering against Israel and America, Lt. Gen. (Res.) Benjamin “Benny” Gantz has seen it all. As the 20th Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces–a position he held for four years, until his retirement in February 2015–Gantz led Israel’s armed forces against an array of diverse and growing threats on every border. Notably, his tenure as IDF Chief of Staff included 2012’s Operation Pillar of Defense and 2014’s Operation Protective Edge against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
I sat down with Gen. Gantz recently in Israel for a wide-ranging conversation on the threats facing Israel (and, by extension, the West) and what the future holds for the Jewish State in an increasingly chaotic Middle East. You can watch our interview tonight on the latest episode of my Christians United for Israel program, “The Watchman,” seen every Thursday at 11:30 pm EST (10:30 pm CST, 8:30 pm PST) exclusively on TBN, the world’s largest Christian television network.
