Tonight on TBN: Pastor Saeed Abedini Speaks Out

This Easter Sunday, my family and I will join Christians around the world in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. With that in mind, I think it’s fitting that tonight’s episode of “The Watchman” on TBN will feature my wide-ranging interview with Pastor Saeed Abedini, who was released from an Iranian prison recently after four years of brutal captivity at the hands of one of the world’s worst regimes. His supposed “crime?” Spreading the Gospel in Iran and refusing to renounce Jesus.

At Christians United for Israel, we stand with the persecuted church around the world. Tonight on The Watchman, Pastor Saeed describes the heavy price that he and other followers of Jesus must face for refusing to deny their faith in the face of a radical Islamic onslaught–and he exposes the true face of an Iranian regime that Western powers continue to appease and even reward, to the tune of tens of billions of dollars in sanctions relief.

Pastor Saeed–who by, the way, is a staunch supporter of Israel–is one of the most courageous men I have ever met, and his firsthand account of life in brutal Iranian prisons and what he endured for his faith is truly gripping.

Just a heads up, our airtime is pushed back an hour later than usual tonight due to Easter programming on TBN, so tune in or DVR tonight at a special start time of 12:30 am Eastern (11:30 pm Central, 9:30 pm Central).

In the meantime, you can watch last week’s episode, featuring reporting from Washington, D.C. and Jerusalem on the Iranian threat to America, by clicking on the viewer below.
